Rob Shaw is the Director of North America Media Partnerships at Meta. In this role, he works with league, team media, real money gaming, and collectibles partners to best utilize the Meta family of technologies in order to drive a number of business objectives, including audience development, sponsorship sales and activation, commerce, and media distribution. Among Shaw’s top priorities is to guide the sports industry’s first steps into the metaverse. Shaw came to Meta after four years at Bloomberg Sports as the VP of content/media, where he introduced advanced statistics into MLB, NBA, and NFL broadcasts and led partnerships with media companies including Turner Sports, Fox Sports, ESPN, and NBC Sports. Prior to transitioning to the business side of the industry, Shaw was an award-winning sports anchor and reporter with experience at NBC and CBS television affiliates in Florida. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from NYU. Rob has two boys, Wyatt and Levi, who he is raising with his wife, Jennifer, in Westchester, NY.
